Inaugural Blog Post

May 4th, 2012 / Back to Blog »

I’m a plastic surgeon based out of Knoxville, TN with additional training in craniofacial surgery (which is surgery of the bones and soft tissues of the face).  While it seems like a fairly narrowly defined field, what I do runs the gamut from cleft lip and palate to corrective jaw surgery to fillers and facelifts.

That said, my practice encompasses all parts of plastic surgery – breast, body, and face.

I love what I do, and I hope that some of that comes through in my blog.  This site has been created for you, the reader.  Whether you are interested in erasing years, smoothing out wrinkles, or searching for the right treatment for your newborn baby, it is your job to do your homework before placing your trust in a surgeon.  For a number of reasons, the “art” of medicine – interpersonal communication and a personal relationship with your doctor, has been eroded to the point it is nearly non-existent.  How ironic that this is the case in a time when nearly everyone carries an iPhone and is constantly “connected” in one way or another…

This site, I hope, offers you some “straight from the horses mouth” information about whatever it is you are interested in, and will help make those important life decisions a little easier to make.

I also welcome friends to my Twitter and Yelp, and  via my LinkedIn page.

Thank you,

Jason J. Hall, M.D.
