breast-augmentation-and-breast-liftAs a woman, your breasts are more than just an indication of gender – they’re a symbol of your femininity and beauty. Unfortunately, age, weight loss, and child birth can cause your breasts to sag and lose volume, leaving you feeling less beautiful than you once were.

Thankfully, you don’t just have to accept these changes as an inevitable part of life. Knoxville breast lift expert Dr. Jason Hall and his knowledgeable staff can help you get back what time has taken away.

What Is a Breast Lift?

While a breast lift alone will not change the size of your breasts, through the removal of excess skin and the lifting of your breast tissues back into their proper position, a breast lift can correct a number of issues with your breasts that can come about over time, such as:

  • Sagging or loss of volume
  • Nipples and areolas that are stretched out or pointing downward
  • Flattening, elongation, or hanging

A breast lift is an outpatient procedure that generally only takes about 3 hours and is performed while you are asleep. Though you’ll have some soreness for a few days post-procedure, most patients are able to return to work after about a week. Ideal candidates are in good health and do not smoke, but Dr. Hall will make the final determination as to your eligibility based on your specific situation.

Not Just Big – Beautiful

Dr. Hall understands that having beautiful breasts is about much more than size. However, size certainly does come into play, particularly if you’re unhappy with the current volume of your breasts. That said, it’s common for patients to have a breast augmentation done at the same time as a breast lift to achieve an ideal result with only one surgery. Doing so may increase the overall time required to complete your procedure, but there should be no increase in recovery time.
