You have tried different diets and committed yourself to a regular exercise routine, but there are still stubborn areas of fat on your body that will not go away. A few examples of these problematic areas are:
- Love Handles
- The Double Chin
Liposuction procedures can be done in any number of ways, but the basics are the same. After you have been given an anesthetic, a numbing fluid (called tumescent) is placed into the areas where Dr. Hall will perform the procedure. A thin tube is then introduced through a few small, hidden incisions and is used to remove the unwanted fat deposits.
Liposuction Procedure Recovery
After liposuction, you’ll wear a form-fitting spandex garment for a few weeks while your body recovers. This prevents fluid build-up and acts to support the tissue as it heals. There is typically some skin bruising, and you can expect some mild soreness for a few days. People usually return to work in 3-5 days, and will wear a spandex compression garment for around 6 weeks for liposuction procedure recovery.
If you have any questions about your liposuction procedure or would like to meet with Dr. Hall to discuss your options, call (865) 973-9500 or use our contact form and request an appointment. For out of town patients, feel free to request an online consult via Skype.
