Non-Surgical Facial Rejuvenation

Patient Receiving In-Office Facial Rejuvenation

For years, the common thinking was that a facelift or eyelid surgery was the only way to eliminate the signs of facial aging. However, as we have learned more about how the face ages and technology has improved, we have gained many more options for non-surgical facial rejuvenation. Patients can benefit from this because now:

Small corrections, over time, can prevent or significantly delay the need for invasive, costly facelift or eyelid surgery.

The hallmark of a youthful, vibrant face is smooth lines and “full contours”. Look at the beautiful face of one of Tennessee’s own – Reese Witherspoon – as an example. Her face is full, with high cheekbones and smooth transitions from the cheeks to the eyes, from the eyes out to the temples. She has full lips in appropriate proportions and smooth skin without discolorations, fine lines, or other signs of sun damage.

What’s more important is what you DON’T see – any signs of “artificial” anti-aging surgery or injections. We all recognize these, even if we can’t name them: hollow temples, hollow upper and lower eyelids (the skeletal appearance around the eyes), thin lips, and hollow, sunken cheeks.  More importantly, there are no stigma of “overdone” injectables – “duck” lips, overly full cheeks, and completely obliterated nasolabial folds (the “parentheses” or “smile lines” around the mouth).

As our knowledge of facial aging has advanced, we can now prevent these stigma of aging by intervening early, preventing loss of volume that is the underlying CAUSE of eyelid bags, wrinkles, and other early outward signs of aging that show up in our faces.

Options for non-surgical facial rejuvenation include injectable fillers, neurotoxins (such as Botox), and topical skin treatments can help prevent the outward signs of aging and reverse the sun damage that accumulates in all of us over time.

Now, using state-of-the-art 3-dimensional imaging technology, Dr. Jason Hall can show you areas that have lost volume or are showing significant sun damage. With sophisticated computer modeling, he can also demonstrate what effects can be had through our various options for non-surgical facial rejuvenation. Patients can now see how your appearance will change with each treatment – before you decide to have anything done.

Because of the importance of appropriate correction to maintain a “natural” appearance, Dr. Hall performs all injections and treatments for non-surgical facial rejuvenation himself.

While there are a number of qualified injectors who get acceptable results, we believe that intimate knowledge of your individual anatomy from years of training, teaching, and study – combined with individual computer analysis – enable them to get much more natural, consistent results and avoid the risk of looking like you’ve been to see a plastic surgeon.

Some of the different non-surgical facial rejuvenation options include:

  • Botox
  • Laser skin resurfacing (full face or “laser peel”)
  • Juvederm
  • Juvederm Voluma XC
  • Lip Enhancement
  • Non-surgical Facelift
  • Restylane & Perlane
  • Sculptra
