Lip enhancement with fat injections or implants is performed under intravenous sedation (“twilight sleep”) and local anesthesia in Dr. Hall’s operating room, and usually takes approximately one hour.
The effects of lip enhancement with injectable fillers usually last between 6 and 9 months before re-treatment is necessary to maintain the results.
Lip enhancement with either fat injections or lip implants is a permanent solution to volume loss of the lips.
You will see the results of injectable lip enhancement immediately after injection, however some temporary swelling and redness of the treated areas is common for the first day or two after the procedure.
