Not every wrinkle, line, or drooping cheek needs a facelift to improve it. In fact, with newer developments in the field of plastic surgery and cosmetic medicine, the “need” for a lengthy, invasive surgery to correct the signs of facial aging can be delayed for quite some time. Facelift or eyelid surgery can now be reserved to treat more severe cases of volume loss or skin excess.
Non-surgical facelift patients can now turn back the clock and restore your youthful appearance with a specifically designed combination of injectable fillers, neurotoxins (Botox), and topical skin treatments.
To augment the cheeks and eliminate lower eyelid bags, a filler such as Juvederm Voluma XC or Restylane is used. Botox can be added to alleviate fine lines around the eyes and eliminate the “smile lines” and “frown lines” that accompany facial aging. Lastly, topical skin treatments – laser skin resurfacing or chemical peels – are used to tighten the skin and eliminate sun damage and skin discoloration that accompanies the aging process.
Using state of the art 3D imaging and sophisticated computer simulation software, Dr. Hall will first perform a detailed analysis of your skin and face. He will then design a customized treatment plan to help you accomplish your goals. The best part is, the simulation can show how these changes will look on your face to help you decide which treatments will give you a natural, refreshed appearance without looking “over-done”.
Dr. Hall performs all injections and treatments for non-surgical facial enhancement himself.
While there are many qualified non-physician injectors who achieve good results, Dr. Hall believes that sophisticated computer imaging and analysis combined with an intimate knowledge of your individual anatomy from years of training and study allows him to attain much more consistent and natural results.
Non-surgical facelift patients can expect the procedure to take up to an hour, depending on which treatments you and Dr. Hall decide are best. Dr. Hall will ensure that your face is sufficiently numbed prior to treatment, so your procedure will be almost completely painless.
You can see the results of a non-surgical facelift immediately after the treatment, although some temporary swelling and redness of the treated areas is common for the first day or two afterwards. Occasionally, minor bruising occurs but this typically disappears in a few days. By avoiding aspirin, ibuprofen, or diet supplements containing fish oil or vitamin E for the week before your procedure, swelling and bruising can be minimized.
The effects of a non-surgical facelift usually last between 6 and 9 months before re-treatment is necessary to maintain the correction (although the results of Juvederm Voluma XC last up to two years!). Some touch-up treatments can be performed during that time to further maintain the results and prolong the need for re-treatment.
The cost for a non-surgical facelift will vary depending on which procedures are done. For a detailed estimate of what these procedures will cost, non-surgical facelift patients can visit Dr. Hall’s Plastic Surgery Pricing page. There, you can select the procedures you are interested in and get a detailed, all-inclusive estimate of what they will cost before you schedule your consultation. Please keep in mind that injectable treatments are highly customized according to your individual anatomy and the estimates given are just averages based on the experience of other patients.
